there is really nothing that matches the excitement that sweeps through a city like i’ve experience in louisville kentucky for the kentucky derby. the derby may be a one day event for the rest of the country, but in louisville derby we know it’s a month long celebration with many more weeks and weeks of preparation by retailers, restaurants and event planners.   I loved playing a small role in derby by photographing all of Pink Julep Boutique dresses for her derby advertising!
